New Name – Same Great Service – Process Server Weekly Update
By Zarvin Wildey, Director, Wax Jacket (soon to be renamed)
Last week saw an awful lot of Canadian instructions land before Easter. There were all sorts of cases, ranging from divorce petitions, to probate issues that needed urgent attention. Our tracing services team and process servers were hard at work all over the UK.
The office staff were keen to have all cases at practical completion or lined up ready for service before lunch on Thursday. I had previously promised them an early finish and a bottle of champagne if we achieved a certain amount of closed cases – how kind, eh? As per usual, they didn’t just achieve but smashed the target given. I made an Easter speech and in the words of Aristotle “we are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but habit” or something along those lines. The team were, I think, more interested in the champagne and Easter eggs than my speech.
With a reduced case load over the easter break, I took some time with the family, looked at the garden that I’ve been tasked with weeding and mowing, and reflected on the feedback we received from the LegalEx exhibition held at the Excel London last month.
It was during the reflection, and reading the comment cards, that I knew I had a big decision to make. I since decided that Wax Jacket as a brand could be improved upon to suit our larger corporate clients boxes. This, despite significant growth since the launch of Wax Jacket. When we first started servicing the solicitors of Norfolk our trustworthy, rural branding worked very well. It was often the case that the solicitor wanted to meet Buster our brown Labrador – the star attraction on the logo and letterhead. Now, with increased growth and multinational companies, London solicitors and law firms throughout the UK on our radar, we’ve taken the first step in the rebranding process. I’ve read the dictionary and listed all the Greek gods I can remember. Finally, I am pleased to say we’ve decided on a new name for the company. All will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Poor old Buster is being retired from our logo and will now spend his days running around the farm chasing rabbits! Rest-assured, you will receive the highest level of service from us now and in the future. The rebrand is firmly in the hands of our marketing team.
